Our chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is quite large, so presumably it's not an everybody-knows-everybody type of situation. I thought it would be nice to start a fellowship between chapter members, and the best way to do that is to first introduce yourself! So why not post a little introducttion? You know, write your name, perhaps your major at QCC, when you are graduating or transfering... Maybe write about what made you join Phi Theta Kappa. I'll start! My name's Deanna. I'm an Applied Arts program student and will be graduating Spring 2011. I joined Phi Theta Kappa because my professor suggests anyone elligible to join because of the scholarships available, and I am definitely in need of financial aid. lol. I'm very active in our chapter, as you can probably tell by my having made this message board. I'm the Recording Secretary, and I am also the chairperson for the "Paws for Recycling" collection our chapter is currently doing for the Worcester Animal Rescue League. So... how about you?

Hello, I'm Mark Nelson and I've been with the chapter since November '09. I've already graduated this May and had majored in both Computer Systems Engineering Technology and Forensics. I have found the chapter to be a good way to meet all sorts of fun and interesting people in an open environment, and a good way of getting to learn from and help others.

Hi everybody! My name is Tara Lea Preston, and I joined PTK in the spring 2010. I am dual majoring Computer Systems Engineering Technology/ Forensics, and Nurse Education. I will be graduating with the spring 2011 class for with my CSET/ Forensics Associates degree, and hopefully again in 2014 with my ADN. From there I would like to pursue a nurse specialization of PMHN. I joined PTK because I wanted to become more involved in the community, and I believe in our chapter's ability to make great things happen for those who are less fortunate. I have met some of the most wonderful people in PTK, and have had nothing short of great experiences with my fellow members thus far. I am proud to be part of such a caring, giving, and devoted group of people!
